Privacy Policy for Rexograph iOS App
Last Updated: July 27, 2026
Effective Date: August 31, 2025
Short version: Rexograph processes images locally on your device. It collects nothing, sends nothing anywhere, and has no servers to send it to.
1. Information We Collect
None. The app has no analytics, no tracking, and no data collection code of any kind. It doesn't collect your name, email, location, device identifiers, usage patterns, crash reports, or the photos you process.
2. How We Use Information
Rexograph processes images entirely on your device using Apple's Core Image framework, then saves the result to your Photos library only if you choose to save it. Nothing is transmitted anywhere in that process — there's no network request to make.
3. Data Storage and Security
All processing happens on your iPhone or iPad. Original and processed images live in device memory while you're working, and only reach your Photos library when you explicitly save them there. There's no cloud storage, no backup service, and no external server involved at any point.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
There's nothing to share, because nothing is collected. No analytics services, no advertising networks, no social media integration. If a government agency or third party asked us for user data, we'd have none to hand over.
5. iOS Permissions
The Rexograph app requests only the minimum permissions necessary for functionality:
Photos Library Access:
- Purpose: To allow you to select images for processing and save processed results
- Scope: You can grant access to specific photos or your entire library
- Control: You can revoke this permission anytime in iOS Settings
- Data Use: Images are processed locally and never transmitted elsewhere
Camera Access (if applicable):
- Purpose: To capture new photos for processing directly within the app
- Control: This permission is entirely optional
- Data Use: Photos taken are processed locally on your device
6. Children's Privacy
Rexograph is fine for users of any age. There are no accounts, no personal data entry, no online features, and no advertising directed at children — the app just doesn't have anywhere to send information even if it wanted to.
7. International Data Transfers
None occur — there's no data to transfer. Everything stays on your device, which sidesteps GDPR/CCPA data-transfer questions entirely rather than needing to comply with them.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Standard data-access/deletion/portability rights don't really apply here since we hold nothing to access, delete, or port. What you do control directly: which images you process, whether a result gets saved to your Photos library, your Photos/Camera permission grants (revocable anytime in iOS Settings), and simply deleting the app.
9. Updates to This Privacy Policy
If this changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised "Last Updated" date. Material changes will get a notice through the app or App Store listing.
